On 27 October 2016 the Council of The New South Wales Bar Association (the Bar Council) resolved, pursuant to section 45(2) of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW), that the application made by Mr Albert Judah on 10 August 2016 for the grant of an Australian practising certificate as a barrister be refused on the basis that the Bar Council considers thatMr Albert Judah is not a fit and proper person to hold an Australian practising certificate as a barrister.
